Occupational health and safety and integration of persons with special needs
An occupational health and safety (OHS) policy based on ISO 45001 is in force at PZU. OHS audits, training sessions, and risk analyses are also conducted. The OHS policy ensures compliance with the highest safety standards and regular preventive actions aimed at minimizing accidents. In the subsidiaries, separate documents are in place or OHS obligations arising from legal regulations are implemented. Within the PZU Group, adjustments to the physical environment have been introduced to ensure the health and safety of employees, customers, and persons with disabilities, including office accessibility, workplace ergonomics, and solutions supporting mobility.
Integration of persons with special needs in other policies
The PZU Group’s employee-related policies include commitments to integrate groups exposed to risk, including persons with disabilities, by adapting the working environment. The PZU Group’s procedures and policies promote diversity and inclusiveness, and their effectiveness is monitored through audits and satisfaction surveys. The policies and procedures apply across the entire organization. Responsibility for equal treatment and equal opportunities in employment is assigned to senior management, and performance in this area is linked to managers’ evaluations.
Communications regarding the policies are addressed to employees through the intranet, newsletters, e-learning modules, and educational campaigns. Information about changes is communicated by email, and training is mandatory as part of the onboarding process.
